Tuition

MEM tuition is $1,099.88 per credit hour plus a $100 per semester Distance Education Fee. Non-Ohio residents are charged a $200 non-resident fee per semester.

Payment Due Dates

Tuition payments are due seven days before the beginning of the university semester or summer term. Please refer to the university Academic Calendar for these due dates. The univeristy Bursar's Office provides a Tuition Option Payment Plan (TOPP) as well that provides an opportunity to further divide out a tuition payment over three individual payments during a semester.

Refunds, Withdrawals and Cancellation Policy

If you withdraw from a course or the program you will be assessed forfeiture fees according to the university schedule. Please visit the univeristy Registrar's website for information and details.

Financial Aid

MEM students are eligible to apply for federal unsubsidized and Graduate PLUS loans to cover the cost of attendance if enrolled for at least 4 credit hours per semester. You cannot apply for financial aid until you are an admitted student at Ohio State. At that time you begin the process by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This information is then sent to Ohio State’s Student Financial Aid Office where they can determine your eligibility and provide you with an Award Letter which states the amount of loans you are eligible to receive.

Complete information about student financial aid can be found on the web site of Office of Student Financial Aid.

Please be aware that a number of factors go into determining financial aid eligibility for distance learning students. Please contact the program for additional information before applying at eng-profed-mem@osu.edu or 614-514-5826.

The Ohio State University is authorized to offer the MEM in all 50 states. For more information on state authorization requirements and disclosures related to online programs, please visit online.osu.edu/state-authorization/disclosures .
