Master of Engineering Management

Overview

Be prepared to lead from any level in your organization with the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree that is offered 100% online. The MEM will enable you to develop a compelling vision and understanding of how to tackle strategic initiatives and create more value within your organization. Learn new engineering management and business skills and also a better understanding of policy and the business-government relationship - all in one degree! This is made possible through a partnership between the College of Engineering, The Fisher College of Business, and the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University.

Enhance Your Engineering Management Skills

The MEM curriculum consists of five core courses in engineering management and the choice of four elective courses that provide additional education in business, engineering, and policy. A capstone course in Operational Excellence for Engineers provides a culminating experience for students and an opportunity to solve real-world challenges by utilizing the skills learned from the MEM courses while implementing the principles of operational excellence and lean systems in an organization.

Six Sigma Certification

Students have the opportunity to earn Six Sigma certification as well as the MEM degree. Yellow, Green, or even Black Belt dependent upon previous Six Sigma projects completed.
